Château Carbonnieux

Château Carbonnieux is a wine estate in Pessac Leognan. The name refers to the gravel soils that define the area; it is the only Bordeaux appellation with its own classification for both red and white. The proximity of the city pushed the vineyards back sharply during the twentieth century. Every wine we carry from Château Carbonnieux comes from this appellation.
