Château Carbonnieux

Château Carbonnieux is a wine estate in Pessac Leognan. The name refers to the gravel soils that define the area; it is the only Bordeaux appellation with its own classification for both red and white. The proximity of the city pushed the vineyards back sharply during the twentieth century.
