Pessac-Léognan

Pessac-Léognan lies in the north of the Graves, directly south of the city of Bordeaux. The name refers to the gravel soils that define the area; it is the only Bordeaux appellation with its own classification for both red and white. The proximity of the city pushed the vineyards back sharply during the twentieth century. From this appellation we offer among others Haut Brion, Pape Clement, Smith Haut Lafitte, Bordeaux 2022 and Carbonnieux.
